Lollapalooza 2015 - CHICAGO! - July 31 & August 1

Incredible news, Chocolate Chips. We will be performing at Lollapalooza 2015 Chicago Kidzapalooza stage alongside our friends, the Pop Ups, the Jimmies, Danny Weinkauf, and the Q Brothers. We are stoked and honored to say the least. I guess you could say we're opening for Paul McCartney and Metallica. WHaauuuT?! Peep the poster...look who's at the bottom row:

We've been getting some pretty cool props by folks since the news dropped. A lot of peeps are hollering at as on Twitter and FB. Our video Happy Place which was featured on their website got 600 plus views the day the news dropped last week! Pretty pretty good! Also, we got a funny little shout of from Dave and Darren, a morning radio show in DeWitt, Iowa.

We will be performing July 31 and August 1. Times yet to be determined. 3 day and 1 day passes are sold out on the Lollapalooza website but you can purchase tickets at Ticket City, here. And if you wanna go ALL out, you can get VIP Platinum passes still on the Lolla website, here.

Got children? According to the Lolla website, "Children 10 years-old and younger will be admitted free of charge with a pass-holding adult." Score!

We are up to our 5th single for February, "The Way We Gets Down." It’s in the celebratory spirit of Mardi Gras with an old-timey jazz/new-timey pop/hip hop vibe — just in time for Fat Tuesday. Winter Shows!

If you are in the Los Angeles or Phoenix area, we have a string of winter shows coming up. LA westsiders, we will be at Books and Cookies in Santa Monica and Cow's End near the Venice Beach Pier. Also, proud to announce, we will be rocking 2 shows at the Children's Museum of Phoenix as part of the Zooglobble Concert Series, Martin Luther King Day!

Back again for the 3rd "song-a-month" installment this merry month of December, Mista Cookie Jar & the Chocolate Chips have thrown their Santa hats in the ring this time to join the spirit-inducing tradition of holiday music. Inspired by the soulful legends of the era, this funky family band have created a fun, 50's pop party anthem rich with jingle bells, saxophones, rhythm & blues guitar, and humorous full-of-heart lyrics. 

"This year, Santa himself has commissioned a jingly pop song to boost morale everywhere, from the workshop floor to the family minivan. Mista Cookie Jar has answered the jolly old elf's bell, delivering a multicultural 50's pop-soul sideline cheer to keep holiday spirit up well into the new year."
