Here it is people!! "Happy Place" Official Music Video

Here's a little glimpse into our life here in Venice, California. All these people are our real friends. This is our real home. These are our real clothes and yes, I own all those sunglasses, lol. Our close friend filmed the video for next to nothing and much of it was shot on my iPad. We don't always smash a piñata and it's not always sunny here, but the love and the music, you can bet, will always shine bright. We hope you enjoy!

"Happy Place" is the 1st official music video release off our 2nd LP, Ultramagnetic Universal Love Revolution (due out, May 8th!!). Filmed in Santa Monica and Venice, California, this video was inspired by our regular dinner-party-jam-sessions with some of our closest friends and family.

"Happy Place" Music Video Teaser

Tuesday, May 1, 2012, we will be releasing a new music video, "Happy Place." It will be the first single off our new album, "Ultramagnetic Universal Love Revolution." The new album will officially be dropping 1 week later on May 8th! This will be our 2nd full length LP...3 years in the making! Each song features the likes of Mista Cookie Jar, Ava Flava, Lucas!, and a handful of Chocolate Chip friends & fam. We took great lengths to make this album a sonic delight for kids and adults alike. We hope you will agree! 13 brand spankin' new songs, as well as a 16 page booklet with lyrics and art. If you are attending Kindiefest in NYC on April 28th, we will be offering some advanced copies for those fortunate enough to attend = )

Kindiefest 2012!

Guess who's performing at Kindiefest this year.....??? Mista Cookie Jar & the Chocolate Chips! I cannot begin to tell you how excited we are! I attended the event last year and met so many amzing artist, movers, and shakers in the independent kids music scene. Where the internet seems to connect so many Kindie artists together, one gets a true sense of community at Kindiefest. I guess nothing is quite like live music or a face to face conversation, LOL. It is a true honor to be invited to perform for such a brilliant event.

We will rock the stage in Littlefield, Brooklyn Saturday, April 28. Others performing at the event include Casper Babypants (with Chris Bellew of Presidents of the United States), KBC Kids (with Kobie of US3), Gustafer Yellowgold, Dan Zanes, and many more!

This past Monday, I conducted a workshop and performed at Wheeling Country Day School in West Virginia. It was the best day ever! And the cherry on top -- we made it on the local news, WTRF 7!!
